We are very lucky in Portishead and the surrounding areas to have a wide range of professional pet services to suit a variety of needs.
Some of these businesses are listed here. This is not an exhaustive list and owners must carry out their own checks regarding insurance, licensing and suitability prior to employing the services of a pet carer.
Dog Walkers
Dog walking is currently unregulated and as such, anyone can set up as a professional dog walker or offer dog walking services on a personal level. However I would always recommend using someone who is insured and canine first aid trained. If walking multiple dogs at once, some knowledge of dog body language would also be advantageous.
